The center has been collecting data on companies from the area of the region, which to some extent present a risk to the environment (potential contaminants). Business entities are sorted into categories and levels based on the criteria that define to which extent the input parameters such as: raw materials, intermediates, products or other by- products harmful substances are considered to have a significant impact on a healthy environment.
Encouraging the implementation of the basic directions and goals of a quality policy in the economy and the accompanying implementation of new standards in business economy, the Centre has set up a database of companies in the region that have certificates of systems standards, according to the type of approved documents that define certain characteristics of the product or process for which is tied a certain product or its manufacturing process.
Within the Center, there are organized activities in the area of business education (seminars, conferences, panels, round-tables and other forms of education) of interest to the economy, continuing our successful collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad, Faculty of Management, Higher School of Professional studies in Novi Sad, Vojvodina Cooperative Association, the Association of Agricultural Economists of Vojvodina and other institutions and professional associations.
