Centre for small and medium enterprises

Centre for small and medium enterprises with their activities help create a better business environment for the establishment and development of small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurship.

The main activities are:

• to assess the influence of economic policy and legislation on the business of SMEs and propose competent state authorities the adoption of new, or changes to existing policies and regulations
• helping SMEs to secure funding on better terms of funds for the development of the Republic of Serbia and AP Vojvodina, the Capital Investment Fund of Vojvodina, the National Employment Service, commercial banks, funds of the European Union and other international institutions and organizations
• monitoring and analyzing the impact of tax policy on economic activity and development of enterprises and entrepreneurs and proposing tax cuts and incentives to invest funds for the construction, expansion and modernization of production facilities
• organizing training, in cooperation with educational, scientific and professional institutions (seminars, presentations, training courses, workshops ...) essential for stimulating the development of existing and establishment of new SMEs
• support the work of General Association of Entrepreneurs from the area of the Region
• encouraging the development of SMEs through mutual clustering, incubators and technology parks
• promotion of entrepreneurial culture and values of the unemployed women (mostly young), the aim of establishing a number of companies and shops in their possession
• monitoring and supporting activities to prevent and combat the informal economy, unfair and non-taxable economic activities 
• to establish common performance at fairs at home and abroad, for which SMEs show interest

Within the Center are actively working community associations of entrepreneurs and the general group of women entrepreneurs.
